A migration is much more than moving products. Done badly, the store loses its Google rankings, old links lead to empty pages, customers cannot see their past orders and the site is down for days. That is why we work in stages. For a while the new store runs alongside the old one and receives the same orders, while historical data is moved over in the background. Every old link is redirected to the matching new page, and the final switch happens when traffic is at its lowest.

How we work
We start with a review of your current store, which takes one to two weeks, and then confirm the migration plan with your team. The first trial run happens on a copy of the site, followed by 4 to 8 weeks in which the old and new stores run side by side. The final switch happens when traffic is lowest and usually takes less than half an hour, and for the first 30 days afterwards we are on standby.
